Carstairs Splash Park Pumpkin Hunt
Tickets go on sale for the second annual Carstairs Splash Park Pumpkin Hunt on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 10 a.m., and are available at Cater Tot Consignment in Airdrie or Starbright for Kids in Coventry Hills. Only 300 tickets are available. The hunt is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 9, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Calgary Corn Maze. Tickets are $10 and include admission, a hot dog and drink lunch, and a small pumpkin for the kids. All proceeds will support the Carstairs Splash Park building fund.
Used toy and clothing sales
Mid-Sun Community Centre, 50 Midpark Rise SE, hosts a fall used toy and clothing sale, Saturday, Sept. 26, 9 .m. to noon, and Haysboro Community Centre, 1204 89th Ave. SW, also is hosting a sale for kids’ stuff, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Erin, a certified personal training specialist, will be hosting the fall edition of GirlTalk Works It Out! – a six-week workout series starting Oct. 19. This class is open to all women of any fitness level and will be stroller friendly for those moms who are looking to get fit with their kids! Calgary Breastfeeding Challenge
The Calgary Breastfeeding Challenge is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, 10 a.m. to noon, Eau Claire Market. All breastfeeding moms and babes or anyone who supports breastfeeding is invited to attend. This family friendly event will include activities for kids, refreshments and prizes.

What happens at a MommySmart event? Moms will have the opportunity to relax in a friendly environment, enjoy a glass of wine and learn about a topic of interest to them. Each presentation, including Q&A, lasts approximately 1.5 - 2 hours, with plenty of time for mingling and chatting before and after the presentation. On Oct. 2, your very own mommy stylist, Kim from Mommy Wear Daily, will let us in on the secret of the top 10 mommy wardrobe pieces and how to wear them to make a fabulous wardrobe. Okotoks Mom to Mom Sale

Halloween Spooktacular
