Upcoming Mommy Smart events
What happens at a MommySmart event? Moms will have the opportunity to relax in a friendly environment, enjoy a glass of wine and learn about a topic of interest to them. Each presentation, including Q&A, lasts approximately 1.5 - 2 hours, with plenty of time for mingling and chatting before and after the presentation. On Friday, Sept. 18, Gail J. Dahl, a mother, researcher, educator and advocate for safe and gentle childbirth, has done exactly that by providing a thorough guide for parents in her new book, Pregnancy & Childbirth Secrets. Gail will be sharing her Top Ten Secrets to a Great Birth. On Oct. 2, your very own mommy stylist, Kim from Mommy Wear Daily, will let us in on the secret of the top 10 mommy wardrobe pieces and how to wear them to make a fabulous wardrobe. Plus, avoiding mom jeans - how to buy flattering jeans that really fit. Tickets are $39.99 plus GST and are available at www.mommysmart.ca, the Urban Treehouse, and Cater Tot Consignment.
