BOLD Red Tent
Elizabeth House is hosting a special BOLD Red Tent gathering as part of a global BOLD movement using the arts to inspire a mother-centered birthing culture, Saturday, Sept. 12, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Bridgeland Riverside Community Association Hall, 917 Centre Ave. NE. parenting young women. The BOLD Red Tent is a safe space where women of all ages (and babies less than crawling stage) gather to share their birth stories and act to advocate for mother-friendly maternity care in our community. The BOLD Red Tents will be facilitated by members of the Calgary Childbirth Education Association. Participants must pre-register. Minimum $10 donation to participate. Outside the BOLD red tent will be a Community Fair featuring organizations currently serving Calgary's birthing women and their families.
