Storytime at the zoo

The Calgary Zoo presents a free storytime (included with admission), Thursday, Feb. 19 to 11:30 a.m., in the atrium of the Karsten Discovery Centre. The program promotes literacy and animal awareness and is suitable for children three to five years old.

Free salsa babies class

Get ready to move it at a Salsa Babies free trial class, Friday, Feb. 20, 11:30 a.m., Trico Centre – Studio 1, 11150 Bonaventure Dr. SE. Parking available only from Bonaventure north off of Anderson Road. Bring your little one in a baby carrier and learn basic steps to popular Latin dances. Classes are appropriate for babies six to eight weeks and older, as long as you are comfortable supporting your baby in a carrier for the duration of the class. All levels of fitness and dance experience are welcome. Please come wearing comfortable clothes you can move in, Indoor shoes, and bring a bottle of water.
