Storytime at the zoo

The Calgary Zoo presents a free storytime (included with admission), Thursday, Feb. 11 to 11:30 a.m., in the atrium of the Karsten Discovery Centre. The program promotes literacy and animal awareness and is suitable for children three to five years old.

Safari Jeff & Shannon

Due to the construction at Southcentre, Safari Jeff & Shannon will be going to Deerfoot Mall Thursday, Feb. 12, to Monday, Feb. 16.

Join in to learn who you might find while creating your own animal tracks keychain to help you explore. The event is free and open to families of all ages. Cardel Winter Festival

Monday, Feb. 16, is Family Day and to help celebrate the day with the entire family, drop by the Cardel Winter Carnival, noon to 4 p.m., at Cardel Place, 11950 Country Village Link NE. Activities include face painting, outdoor games, public skating, inflatable bouncers and more.

Family Day at the Oval
