High School Musical 2
Kids that love Disney’s High School Musical will love seeing the stage production of High School Musical 2, starting Friday, April 10 and running until May 2, at the StoryBook Theatre. For more details and tickets, visit StoryBook Theatre online.
Taste of Jamaica mon!
Bring the whoel family out to celebrate everything Jamaican during the Taste of Jamacia Expo 2009, Saturday, April 11, noon to 8 p.m., at the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Centre, 5600 Centre Street North. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children four to 10 years old and free for children under four.
Easter at the zoo
Hop on down to the Calgary Zoo for Easter Eggstravaganza, Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11. Fabulous entertainment from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a value added event, regular zoo admission applies.

TELUS World of Science is hosting the Purdy's Chocolate Egg Hunt and spring-based science and art activities, Saturday, April 11, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Homeopathy and vaccines
Join Calgary Homeopath, Donna Powers as she discusses Homeopathy - What is It? How does it Work? Why Homeopathy? Vaccination - yes or no - what you need to know to make an informed decision. Childhood illnesses: what you need to know about childhood illnesses and how to treat your family safely with homeopathy, and Influenza and the avian bird flu - seasonal, epidemic and pandemic. Spring fever
Have lots of Easter fun with the whole Family on Sunday, April 12, during Spring Fever at Fort Calgary, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crafts, games, face painting and a treasure hunt. Children get in for free.
Chick search
Hop on down to Calgary Farmers’ Market on Sunday, April 12, for the chick search where you have to find hidden Easter chicks around the market to win a prize. Colouring contest as well. Farmers’ Market is open all weekend.

Pregnancy nutrition class
First Step Nutrition is offering a Pregnancy Nutrition class, Monday, April 20, at Room to Grow. A registered dietitian will teach you how to best feed yourself and nourish your growing baby. First Aid for the family *NEW*
Sometimes the unexpected can happen with babies and children around the house so it is nice to be prepared. Room to Grow’s resident paramedic Chris Brignall (EMT-P) will be teaching an eight-hour certification course of EMP Canada's First Aid and CPR, Sunday, April 26, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Course cost is $95/person.
