Storytime at the zoo

The Calgary Zoo presents a free storytime (included with admission), Thursday, April 2, 11 to 11:30 a.m., in the atrium of the Karsten Discovery Centre. The program promotes literacy and animal awareness and is suitable for children three to five years old.

Ukrainian eggs

Toons for Toddlers

The Uptown Stage and Screen, 200, 610 – 8 Ave. SW, presents a new concept in family entertainment – Toons for Toddlers, where families with toddlers and young children can enjoy entertainment in a toddler-friendly environment. The launch is scheduled for Saturday, April 4, with a screening of In The Night Garden, at 10:30 a.m. Admission is free.
