Toy and product fair

The Lower Mainland Annual Toy and Product Fair benefiting the Langley Child Development Centre is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Langley Events Centre, 7888 200th St. (four blocks south of Hwy #1 at 200th Street exit), Langley. The fair features vendors selling quality toys and innovative products for children of all ages. There is no charge for admission and as an extra bonus, there are over $750 worth of door prizes to be won.

West Coast Women’s Show

Salmon come home event

Drop by the Hoy Creek hatchery site in Coquitlam across from the City Centre Aquatic Complex for the Salmon Come Home Event, Sunday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Celebrate the return of salmon to their spawning grounds in Hoy Creek. The family event features lots of fun, including watching the salmon spawn, guided nature walks, fishing prizes, entertainment, face painting and more.
