A little Jonesy

Long before e-mail, receiving a handwritten note delivered in the mail was a special treat. Now with e-mail, we often receive thank you notes, invites, congratulations, and more via a non-personal way. Even though, it argumentatively is eco-friendly, every now and then it’s nice to receive a handwritten card or note. We have the vibe on a Canadian company that brings the cool back in to sending cards and notes to your friends and family.

The Jonesy card vibe

Created by two moms in Toronto, Jonesy is a small stationery company that creates high quality cards and gift cards with whimsical illustrations. Jonesy’s products are made in Canada using environmentally friendly processes. All their cards are printed with soy-based inks on Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper. Jonesy also has a line of cards where the proceeds directly benefit the Sick Kids Foundation.

Why we can’t wait to give them to our friends

We loved the cards we recently received from Jonesy. Receiving a handwritten note or card via regular mail is quite a treat especially when the card is unique and not your stereotypical ‘Hallmark’ card. The Jonesy cards are anything but. They offer fun, whimsical, and elegant cards for a bunch of occasions, including a new baby, birthday, thank you, party invite, and more.

Just in time for the upcoming holiday season, Jonesy now offers cards for Hanukkah and Christmas (including gift tags). They haven’t left out the other holidays and one of our favourite cards they make is for Easter.
