Bellies, Birth, and Beyond!

As a Babyvibe reader, chances are you already have some connection to the world of pregnancy and babies. If you also happen to live in or around Vancouver, and have some free time this Saturday, March 14, then you'll want to check out this fun community event.

The Birth Fest vibe

Brought to you by Birth Lounge and the Britannia Community Centre, the third annual Birth Fest is a community-oriented event designed to celebrate “bellies, birth, and beyond.” Scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Birth Fest is a free, interactive community celebration where the whole family can check out local resources, innovative services, lively entertainment, and fun activities.

Why we like it

The Birth Fest is not your ordinary trade show. The event features a range of local businesses and services that care about you and your family. In addition to having lots of fun, we love the welcoming, inclusive, and interactive environment where families can explore and connect with a supportive and diverse birthing and baby community. Families get to enjoy great music, storytellers, healthy snacks, gift bags, and more. As well, there will be door prizes and contests (hint: don’t forget to stop by the Babyvibe booth and enter to win a fabulous prize basket). On top of everything else, Birth Fest is free and for all ages. We are certain that this special gathering is one event that will inspire, engage and foster community connection for all those who attend.
