High praise for this chair

We are always delighted when we come across innovative baby necessities that combine cool styling with practicality and efficiency. So, we were nothing short of thrilled when we were introduced to the HandySitt high chair for babies and toddlers.

What it is

HandySitt is a Danish-designed seat for babies and toddlers (six months to five years) that is now available in Canada. It is sleek, weighs only five pounds and attaches easily and securely to almost any chair you already own. With the Handysitt, your tot is finally able to sit right at the table with everyone else, allowing family bonding during mealtime. It’s made primarily of solid beech wood, and contains no harmful chemicals in any of its materials or coatings.

Why we love it

Gone are the days of cumbersome, grubby, and unattractive white plastic highchairs taking up space in your eating area. Thanks to the HandySitt’s sleek, minimalist design, it takes up no extra room, which is perfect for small spaces, and fits in with any room’s decor. More importantly, the HandySitt is a safe, comfortable, high-quality seat that is easy to install and fold up and pack away for storage or transport. We love that the engineering of the HandySitt automatically positions your babe in an ergonomically correct position for eating. Reasonably prized (about $160), we think the HandySitt is a great way to bring European function and form to your tot’s mealtime!

Where to find it

The HandySitt is newly available in Canada, and can already be found at the following stores:
