The sweetest Valentine

This Valentine's Day, we want to focus on true love. Thanks to babyvibe mom Traci, we present to you the most darling Valentine's craft to do with your little one. It comes straight from the heart, and presents your child's little hand saying 'I love you' in sign language.

What you and your child will need

  • Red, white, and pink cardstock or construction paper
  • Decorating accents like markers, stickers, sparkles, etc.
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Instructions

  • Cut out a heart from cardstock or construction paper.
  • Have your child decorate one side with markers, stickers, and little hearts cut out from the pink paper.
  • Trace your child's left hand, palm down on a white piece of paper, and cut out.
  • Glue the hand onto the heart with the thumb on the left side, take care NOT to put glue on the back of the middle and ring fingers.
  • Put a drop of glue on the front tips of the middle and ring fingers. Gently bring the tip down to the top of the palm. Hold for a few seconds until the glue sticks.

Now that you have finished your craft, send it to a special grandparent, aunt or uncle, mom or dad, or any other special person in your world. This is the sweetest and easiest Valentine. Happy Valentine's Day!
