When we heard that one of our all-time favourite reggae artists released an album for children, we knew we had to get our hands on it. Ziggy Marley is the mastermind behind Family Time, a CD featuring an amazing mix of songs from Ziggy and guest stars including Jack Johnson, Paul Simon, Rita Marley, and Willie Nelson.

Why we listen over and over

Music is a way of life in our family. Children and adults in our clan love to dance and sing to a wide range of musical genres, particularly reggae. It’s a perfect way to clear up a cloudy day at home. The children in our house, ranging in age from two and up, along with the adults, all love Ziggy Marley’s Family Time album. Every song resonates with brightness. We play the album over and over - it’s so awesome. In addition to a collection of likeable, danceable songs, the album focuses on themes of love, responsibility, unity, freedom and fun.
