What's the vibe today . . .

Staying put

Babyvibe product tester Marley, now close to 21 months, has a full head of hair. Not wanting to give her bangs, her parents have democratically decided to let her hair grow. Without wanting her do to look like a mop, they try to use barrettes. Here’s the problem: barrettes never stay put! Several packages of barrettes later, her parents have finally come across a product that sticks.

What it is . . .

Designed by a Canadian mom, Bugalug Barrettes are the must have hair accessory for little girls from the time they have hair. The reason why? They are made from a magnetic clip that stays put! No, it is not a farce. We have tried this on our little girls and they really work!

Why we like it . . .

Like we said the barrettes actually stay put thanks to the magnetic powers of the clip. The barrettes even stay put on fine hair that so many toddlers have. Apart from the functionality of the barrettes (and the fact that they are hard to lose), we like the designs. No ‘over-the-top’ bows to tend with, rather nice, classy funky designs adorn the barrettes, making for a perfect matching accessory to any little girl’s attire. By the way, bonus marks are given to Bugalug as the barrettes are made with non-toxic glue.
