Baby, it's still cold outside!

The sun is shining and the flowers are blossoming, but it’s still a little nippy out. That’s why it’s not too late to keep your babies and toddlers decked out in funky winter hats.

Here’s what started the whole Babyvibe concept: a pink fleece furry hat with ears. Made by Calikids, the hat attracted an abundance of attention when worn by my daughter Marley throughout the winter season. If I had one dollar for every time someone asked me where I bought it, I would be, well let’s say, pushing the high-end Bugaboo stroller.

Why we like it

Besides being cute, the hat adequately covers ears and partially the cheeks, and it’s not too easy for baby to pull off.

Where to find it

The darling pink bear hat is available at Scallywags Vancouver located in the Kids Market at Granville Island.

The big scoop is that the hat, along with other winter hats for boys and girls, is currently on sale at Scallywags. Even better the style is available in cream. While winter may be over, it’s never too late to stock up for next year. We also found the pink fuzzy bear hat at Baby Things/Wedding Things in Yaletown, 1020 Mainland St., Vancouver.
