‘Cooler’ sleep time
When it comes to sleep, our biggest wish is for our babies to have a safe and comfortable sleep that will hopefully last through the night. Here’s the lowdown on products that help create a perfect sleep environment.
The sleep vibe
Vancouver-based company Köhlr Baby (pronounced ‘cooler baby’) makes high-quality fleece sleep sacks (sleeping bags), fitted crib sheets, shelled blankets, and more that create a snuggable and safe sleep environment for babies and toddlers.
Why we like it
Sleep sacks continue to grow in popularity and it’s no wonder since they are promoted by SIDS organizations. With sleep sacks, you don’t have to worry about baby getting tangled in blankets (according to Köhlr Baby, blankets can get tangled up around your baby’s mouth and nose causing re-breathing of air, which is a factor associated with SIDS). While there are a vast range of sleep sacks on the market we prefer the Köhlr kind as they have made them smarter thanks to the fleece fabric, which is breathable, hypo-allergenic, quick drying, durable, easy to care for, and warm.
What we really get excited about here at Babyvibe are the fitted fleece crib sheets, which are ultra soft and comfy (this Babyvibe mom hopes to see an adult version).
